What is error code E55 goes into slow speed. turn off and back on fault goes away until lifting again

well, i too have CAT EP 50, nw it shows me INF 40 and ERROR 55. Can anybody give me a solution. But the hydraulics are completely fine, steering motor is good. some one help me

your problem is lift switch & lowering switch, most likely its a bad switch on the side of the mast or your magnet is to far apart and the switch doesn't open when its lowering thats the first thing, second check reach out limit sensor that sits of the middle of the truck by the reach out cylinder if the truck has that option.
