Discussion:
No lift

48v unit with no lift. No lift indicator on dash illuminated. Suspect green box lift lock out but can not justify. Contactor works when the power and ground are applied. battery volts at 50 and drop tp 47.9 under travel load.
Any suggestions?

ummm doku started 2 other threads about this problem back on the 15th, no response to it yet so he came in here and did it again. DOH

as for the origional problem, 50v on a 48v battery isnt bad, its not fully charged but it should run the truck without any issues. The voltage drop during runtime is normal but if its dropping to 47 volts you might want to try charging the battery and running the tests on a fully charged battery and see what voltage drops you get, a discharged battery can fool you into thinking there is a problem when there isn't.

the lift lockout shouldnt activate will the battery is discharged to somewhere in the neighborhood of 10% depending on how the lockout is set in the truck manager. Not all mfg's set theirs the same.

doku, you will need to measure the battery box, height, width and depth. then you will need to check the capacity plate to find the maximum and minimum allowed battery weights (very important).
Batteries for this unit cost between 5 and 7 thousand USD (plus shipping) average

You should be reading around 52 + volts fully charged. Try charging battery and then topping off with distilled water. Top off with charger again. If voltage is still low then check each cell for 2.2 volts. It sounds like pump cut is activated. Hope this helps.

What i used to do all day now takes me all day to do.
Start with the seat switch, check to see if it's still connected and working properly or if debris & trash under seat. Also check lift switch on hydraulic control valve spool for connection, adjustment and working properly.
