Discussion:
2.6 Perkins oil pressure

Hey guys
I just purchased a used Hyster H60XM, SN:H177B27919Y. It has a Perkins 2.6 litre, 704-26.
This machine was brought to the Hyster shop and pan was pulled and it was determined the pump drive had failed. They were quoted a replacement engine to repair machine. I started it briefly and the engine is not even knocking yet. Is anyone familiar with this repair??

Hello again- I'm gonna waive this one around again. We should get the machine to the shop tomorrow. I am hoping to repair/ replace the engine oil pump without removing the engine. Any ideas??
