Still R50-15

I have to fit a reverse alarm to a Still R50-15 S/N 5044021299
I have in the past had problems with spikes /feedback when fitting alarms on other trucks.Any warnings before I go ahead.Going to fit it in the reverse coil circuit would appreciate any input
