CF40B Was working fine, Now it won't go into gear, reverse or forwards.

Hi, I just bought a used Clark CF40B about a week ago, it was working fine until all of a sudden it wouldn't go into gear.

It starts up fine, the forks work fine up/down/tilt but it won't go into gear.

Anyone on here have any idea what it might be? Transmission fluid? Clutch problems?

Thanks for any opinions guys.

Its a CF, so the unit has a dry clutch. Check linkage, pull cover to view clutch under floorboards

Check the inching slave cylinder on the top of the trans to make sure it is not stuck.

Is this a standard or automatic transmission? If it's a automatic, the dip stick for the transmission fluid is on the differential up front behind the mast. Use red Dextron ATF.
