We had an issue where the tiller head card was diagnosed.
We had ordered and installed the new card but needed the programming to be done by our local BT dealer.
Basically now it is full of C28 and E104 error codes that did not exist prior to the new card. Assumption is that program installed was wrong.
Does anyone know of the correct program number that this truck should be running?
Showing items 1 - 9 of 9 results.
Excellent result, good to hear.
Sure enough, the errors went away! Thanks!
Ok, getting a CAN key on loan from our dealer today and will let you know the results.
The parameters available on the machine also depend on what software package it is running.
Parameter 22 changed when BT changed over from a mechanical tiller brake switch to an inductive tiller brake switch.
The same card / software could be fitted / uploaded to an older machine so a parameter to select the type of brake switch was required.
Ok... I misunderstood the other posts about this issue. Where is a list of ALL the parameters that exist on the machine? The manual I have only shows some and lists many (including P-22) as "Able to view, but not change."
Parameter 22 was added in newer software packages due to product upgrades carried out & sets which type of brake switch is fitted to the tiller.
1 is for an INDUCTIVE switch.
0 is for a MECHANICAL switch.
If this parameter is incorrectly set the truck wont work & will error out.
We do not have a CAN key, but Parameter 22 Is showing 1, which I believe is correct for our lift, which has a limit switch on the tiller arm.
C28 is the correct code if you press the E stop button.
C28 is also the correct code if you unplug the Curtis motor controller.
E104 is a brake fault - do you have a BT CAN service key?
Have a look & see if Parameter 22 exists.
Did you ever figure out what happened? I am getting the same thing after replacing the tiller head card on my BT WSX-20. I am only getting E104, but have gotten C28 when either the E-Stop button is depressed, or the main cable into the Curtis Motor Controller is unplugged.
