Discussion:
Hydraulic question

I have a Mitsubishi FGC20CN that had a rotating fork assembly installed, it was worn out and we don't need it anymore so I removed it from the machine. I removed the lever and disconnected the hydraulic hose from the firewall that supplied the rotating forks. My question is, can I just cap off both connections or do I need to make a small hose to attach the two together. Thanks.

Thank you. Do you happen to know what size the cap is I need? I am assuming it is metric. Thanks again.

You must cap them off. If you joined the two together and someone pulled the plunger on the valve you would either blow the hydraulic pump, control valve or both.
