Unit has MicroCommand, accelreates with no load wheels in the air , when machine is on the ground it will not move until the 1A contactor closes then the unit goes full speed. I removed the transistors and they checked out alright. I thought it may be in the accelerator optical switches, but I was wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks Jeremy

Recheck drive transistors, they may be degenerating. Curent Limit set too low. Bad head cap. Check D4D & D5D (flyback & plugging diodes) If it a M50DSA, the regen contact may not be closing right away which would cause very low power, usually no drive at all.
