Discussion:
forklift idles rough and shuts off. No codes and only at idle.

I need help. Forklift idles rough most of the time. It rarely idles normal anymore. It doesn't give any codes and this only happens at idle. Once you give it gas, it runs, but when back at idle, it dies again. What could it possibly be?? I checked the vacuum hoses and they're all connected.
help please....
thank you

try pulling the air filter out and see if that makes any difference
also there is a drain plug on the converter that can be removed and the converter can be cleaned out

other than that anything else that would be wrong causing this problem would trigger a code of some sort, usually
