So Batteries were knackerd - I've had them replaced with brand new - I just thought chasing faults was a bit pointless until that was sorted. So a rather expensive excersise later, brand spankers across the board. Now I still have my Fault code history so I assume there's a sub battery/memory somewhere. My Hydraulcs fire up and down far quicker than before and no fault code or stops are triggered but I still have very slow drive. I've adjusted the Mag pick ups (x2) for the steering position and I now have the wheel indication/location back. Is there a way to clear codes (if only for a short time) to assess if my drive motor can move fwd/rev normally to at least provie that is ok and it's more ont he fault code/control side? I'm not getting very far withfinding competent people who'l plug in and diagnose. Hold a few buttons down, press brake pedel twice kind of affair to clear codes?

So I had the battery pack on charge overnight. Been getting just over 48v at the main terminals with no load. Lifting the forks slowly drops the voltage to 38-40v. Now I've checked each 2v unit (with no load) and 14 are a touch above 2v - say 2.03 and the remainng 10 are at 1.93v-1.97v. What is weird though is that I know the charger has been kicking on and off overnight and shows green in the morning (It then performed these tests) but the gauge on the forklift was orange/half way adn then just now red/very low even though the forklift as just raised the mast slowly a couple of times. no real work to load/drain the batteries in such a short timeframe. Can their be a massive drain on the batteries? Is this an indication they're knackered? Should I see what the voltage drops to on each 2v unit so see if any inparticular drop very low? Cheers

Thanks DaCarr. So just been out to it - Battery level is indicating half way (should I chuck it on charge overnight to check the load test?) So main +ve and -ve from the battery pack shows 46v currently with no services requestd. When I apply slow lift, this drops to on average 36v. If I request more flow/speed I get the fault code and the forklift stops. At this point I get around 33v. Is it worth me going through each battery now? I have similar but not the same size battery packs from a sissor lift that are larger 12v deep soak battery packs but not looked at these in a few years. Many thanks

First test the whole battery, with a multimeter, directly on the conector, staff lifting slowly until error appears. Voltagem shouldn t drop below 40 volt.
Ir it drops, you can check each individual cell in the Middle of the screw, there is a small hole

Thanks, I have been through and topped up with water. I load test 12v individual batteries for tractors with a hand held unit. Can't do a bank thpugh - can I use my load test on each individual battery cell and assess if some/all are knackered? Ta
