CAT Caterpillar ET Diagnostic Tool

Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET) is diagnostic software required to communicate, diagnose and service electronically controlled Caterpillar engines and machines.

is this 'official' cat software?
judging from the link you provided it is NOT the official CAT software.
Last time i checked CAT does not offer any of their software for free much less to the public. And last time i checked the 'official' cat branded software for the P5000 forklifts was called Diagnozer and that software cannot be obtained anywhere officially except from them in their training classes or through a special agreement if one is made to select 'fleet' customers. This also applies to the cables required to connect to the machines.
