Discussion:
Cascade side shift stopping.

Does anyone know what will cause side shifter to not move at times?
More so under load.
Handle will vibrate when it won't move.
Then it will start working again no mater what the weight.
No leaks on hydraulic system.

It already has new slide bushings and lubed.
Have rebuild kit coming for cylinder to see if that corrects problem.

One of the most overlooked things is proper side-shift lubrication as well as bushing condition. You could also have a bad side-shift cylinder.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
