Discussion:
Won't Start

Hi All.
I have an issue where my forklift won't do anything. When I press the brake, horn or turn the key just get an alarm and no lights on the dash.
What is likely to be causing this. Have good voltage have checked all the fuses. It is in neutral and have tried moving everything around.
Thanks Dan

I haven't tried that. It maybe the ignition switch but it hasn't been a problem. The lights on the dash don't come on so don't think it is starter related. It feels like there is a switch not made somewhere that is stopping it.

I'm not very familiar with toyota, so I'll help you as much as I can.

Have you tried swapping the Starter Relay with another relay that does not prevent the engine from starting ?

Is the ignition switch worn out ?
