Discussion:
Alternator Issues

keep blowing alternators and being told they are over charging and that is what is causing them to blow. Anyone have an idea why this would be happening?

I would check for proper grounding of the alternator. Checking engine grounds and battery ground cable resistance. Would also check for a short to ground on the alternator charging cable running back to the battery and the resistance of the charging cable as well.
