HARNESS MELTDOWN

The shear joy of BT ownership keeps on giving. Had a fork camera cable get squished in the side shift mechanism "somehow"?? Operators !!!! Jeez!!!
Anyway - it appears there is no fused protection on the camera to monitor or monitor to 12VDC circuit as the squished cable short circuited and melted the entire camera cable from the forks allllllllll the way back to the monitor then alllllll the way back to the DC/DC converter. The camera cable at times is embedded in the main wiring harness as it makes its way through the POS lift!! NOT IMPRESSED !!!!
The service manual is vague - often incorrect - written in poorly translated gibberish - useless - as is our local dealer. nice people but seem to have NO tech communication with Sweden. So - once again I find myself alone on an island with a VERY sick lift.
Gotta looooove these BTs!!
