Discussion:
Error code 003, 081

Serial Number FN314675
I am owner/mechanic, just got this truck and after using for a few minutes codes out and nothing works, hydraulics or drive motor. Lights are on but it will not move at all. Just before it was acquired the speed/ temp sensor on the bearing was replaced on one of the drive motors and it fixed it temporarily but now problem is back. I cannot find service manual for this generation of truck, only for newer version. Anyone know what these errors are and where I can find a manual? Also, where can I run the serial number to figure out exactly what year this truck is?

Thanks very much for the reply. Any idea how to fix a loop in the controller? The temperature sensors test good and when plugged into the diagnostic computer it show the temperature of one of the controller is 200 degrees, which it is not because it happens right after it turns on. Does anyone know of a company in the u.s. that does controller repair on Jungheinrich?

Thanks for the information. I believe you were correct about the 003. I had the controller serviced and they swapped out the board that I believe had the temp sensor circuitry. I just reinstalled the controller. Now I am not getting the error 003, but I am getting "INFO 008" and then "Error 081". Can I reprogram those potentiometers manually, without the computer that plugs into this truck?

Hi, Antony. forklift 2004 year.
The problem is not in the bearing. A possible problem in a loop in one of the control units, this is with regard to error 3.
as for error 81, you need to configure all potentiometers
error 3 - temperatur limit for controllers
error 81 - different parameters for the two traction conrollers

The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
