Discussion:
Crown WAVE 60 Lifetime

Hello everyone,

I could use some guidance on the lifetime of a Crown WAVE 60. It currently has over 2500 hours on it according to the display under the hood, and is frequently getting stuck at the extended up position. Thanks for any help!

I've personally only have worked on Target store Wav trucks, and they get replaced around that hour meter reading.

Will do thank you! What's the typical lifespan of these older models?

The new Wav currently out is VERY expensive. Call your local Crown dealer to get a repair estimate on your current Wav, then let the owners make the fix or replace decision.

Is that something we would have to outsource to get fixed? Are the amount of hours on it to blame? They are used in probably more of a bad manner. Might cost less to just get new ones.

Looks like major repairs are due, at least adjust mast chains to keep them from sticking. Is this WAV driven in a good manner, or bad like at a Target store
