Discussion:
What if you could make your forklifts 15% more efficient?

Currently doing some research about industry challenges in the material handling world, so any thoughts and answers will be very much appreciated:

What if you could get 15% more productivity out of every one of your forklifts? Would you try to sell surplus forklifts and reduce # of people, or focus on getting more done with the same people/equipment?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Not trying to be a smart *** or anything , a good warehouse crew gets those kind of results every day. they do not have trackers or quotas. There is a food dist. center in San Antonio ,TX that pays by the pick. They are union , they do not mess around. those people fly. They are not that bad when it comes to equipment damage. Whoever has the account now must have some good equipment in there as I have not heard any bad news from them. Besides most warehouse operations given that level of productivity increase would show little or no additional output as the operators would just slow down. Remember, its the people that operate the equipment that make the difference
