Spectrumn fuel system

The problemn im having is this truck wont hook up to be diagnosed it has a mits 4g64 engine and we have a very bad throttle lag, ie.. wont rev up very fast. It has turned me into a parts replacer and i dont like it. I have replace the vaporizer old one was full of oil and replace both trim valves and hoses due to oil and i did replace the carb due to diaphram was oily and there isnt a diaphram kit for it. We che ked the compression cold and had 20 pounds of variance and that fell into the 15 per cent diff so that needs addressed as well. Checked the timing belt and timing and it is ok checked the foot pot it was ok and checked electronic motor on butterflies and it moves freely and goes wot when foot pedal is depressed. Alt out put is 14.4. Running out of patience and time. Please let me know if anyone has anymore thoughts or answers for me on this. Thanks.
