Discussion:
Drive unit lube

Anyone know whether this drive unit takes 80w90 or grease? Looks like someone used grease in the past. I'm assuming gear oil, but thinking if I add this in I may develop oil leaks due to age. I only have parts books. The company has several of these units with no manuals.

The first practical visible-spectrum LEDs were red, not white. The red colour was the easiest to produce using the semiconductor materials available at the time (the 1960s). The alloy gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) used emitted red light.
