Opposite side of the drive motor, also check the motor brushes....could be worn out or stuck in the holders.

yes it was passing through the contacts.
now I don't know where this brake switch is. only the door switch, which I bypassed. so I don't know if the brake switch works or not.
where is it located.
thanks for replying.

That's just so the door doesn't swing and knock you over, lol. There is also a little brake switch down there. It could "click", but does it work? Also, is the voltage passing through the contactors after they close? <- another reason to have the wheel off of the ground

thanks for replying. yes opened up the door and can see all 3 click for each direction. already checked the fuse, and voltage to the drive motor. batteries are brand new. I did bypass the door switch.
I didn't raise the drive tire off the ground. Don't know what else to check. the drive motor has four main terminals. two of them seem to be grounds, and 2 of them have 12volts on each. why raise the drive tire off of the ground?
thanks again

This is an easy system. So, you hear 3 contactors "click" in each direction? Check the power fuse first, then check for mechanical binding in the contactors. Next, open door and raise drive tire off of the ground. Bypass the door switch and check for battery volts to the drive motor.
