I own a Mitsubishi FGC15 Serial:AF81A-52212.
What year is it ?
How do I find out what engine is in it ?
I need to do maintenance on the engine and want to be able to get oil filters and tuneup parts from the local auto parts store down the street instead of directly through a Mitsu dealer.

Hello again,
I did my absolute best to find one of those three codes on the block but there is no machined flat spot on the block except for a few small areas that appear to be machinings to align the block for boring.
Can anyone send me a picture of the code on their block ?

its going to be a mitsubitshi engine of one of 3 model numbers
4G33 or 4G52 or 4G54
you'll need to look on the side of the engine block on the alternator side and look about half way down and you'll see a machined off place that is flat looking, clean it off and it should have one of those 3 numbers stamped into it.
