Seems strange for a couple reasons. They spent all the money on Fortis, and the economy version of the Fortis, now they try this. Also they buy quite a few components for the Fortis from Heli (like the steer axle) so weird they wouldn't just buy from Heli.
Another flavor of the month management move I think. Could you see Toyota pulling something like this.
