Toyota forklift 7FGU30

Hello all- first time to forum. I'm working on a LPG fueled 7FGU30 Toyota forklift with the ECS engine control system. Unit was running fine, then the ignition coil failed. I replaced the coil- now engine starts then immediateloy stalls. The fuel solnoid only energizes with the starter. If I bypass the wiring harness & give the fuel solnoid direct power, the engine only idles. The local dealer won't give any information on the drive by wire system. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Check wire coming from distributor normally breaks, its the rev input. If ecm doesnt see this input it will not provide signal to fuel relay, its pretty common to break near dist.

I don't know if there are any codes. I have no way of reading them.

there is a high probability that the ecm has set a code and wont let the truck run correctly till its cleared.

Are there any codes? There are 2 switches on the carberator that sense where the throttle plate lever is. Sometimes they mess up and the truck will only idle. I would also make sure you have a good ground, it is a common problem with these trucks. You can add a cable going from the frame to block for good measure.
