Is there a site or chart that can help decipher what a lift is by the serial number? I am looking at a couple of lifts and the main plate is messed up but I can read the serial number(s).
Also, can a side shift be added to an older say 2005-2016 unit. Mainly looking at Walkie Straddle Stacker for this purchase.
I received one of the serial #'s this afternoon: 6A182896 and the other is sequential 6A182897.
This is a W series and I'm not sure what the difference is between it and the m and st/sx series.

Trying to figure out the specs, model #, year of mfg, whether it is a TT or TL mast, etc.
And can this unit manuever on asphalt? I have asphalt that I need to travel on between 2 buildings every so often. maybe once or twice every 6 months.
The seller says asphalt is the reason they are selling it. But they may have crappy asphalt.
What info are you looking for?
Thanks, I'll look that up.
Any info for SX3000 serial # is 5A516568
One of the many differences is that SX can get side-shift and ST cannot. You can Google Crown ST3000 and Crown SX3000 and see all of the specs in the brochures.
Thanks for the information. What is the difference between the SX & ST? I am looking at a couple more units but not sure of the specs on the first one but I know it is a SX3000 serial # is 5A516568. The other that I am looking at a 2019 SX model but I don't have the exact model or serial # for it yet but has 281 hours on the meter for less than $9K.
You have to have a Crown PSRT account to look up specific information.
Those trucks were made in 8/2000. I have never seen and I don't think that you can install side-shift on them.
I highly recommend the SX3000 truck. You can get one with side-shift. Stay away from 20MT trucks as they are the cheapest and give more trouble than they are worth. You cannot get a 20MT with side shift.
