Hyster H70FT:
Hydraulic lockout return to neutral

Hyster H70ft Sn:L177B02189C Display states Hydraulic lockout return to neutral. Have no fault codes. Is this in the mini-levers or the control valve assy.
Do not have software to test this unit and limited experience with these newer hysters. Someone please get me started with testing this. Had a Hyster tech come to the shop to clear some old codes and he was here less than 1 hour, traveled 80+ miles each way, and cost me $585 CANT do that every time a wire breaks.

I think it may if one of the wires to the seat switch is broken.

Additional info: At the mini levers (Hall Effect i believe) there are three wires.
Black = 0v in all positions. ground?
Red= 5.0vdc in all positions. Supply?
Gray= 2.7vdc lever in neutral. Output?
=.5vdc lever pulled back
= 4.5vdc lever pushed fwd
These values seem to be good.
At the 6 wire plug after the pc board i have no change in values.
orange to red wire=12vdc
Yellow=2.5vdc
black=0vdc
violet to dark green=0vddc
white=5vdc
light green=2.5vdc
no voltage change on any wires at the 6 wire plug.
I am reading that the seat switch will lock out the hydraulics, but all hydraulics worked without operator in seat before this happened.

The hydraulic lockout is displayed on the screen when the engine is running and no one is sitting on the seat. I would start by checking the seat switch and the wires to it.

Fact of the week
A 1904 lecture by scientist Elie Metchnikoff extolled the benefits of consuming yoghurt for halting the "intestinal putrefaction" which he believed causes aging. The press reported yoghurt as a cure for aging and the ensuing popularity is still with us today.
