Hi, Tim
Thank's for all your information.
Wish you also a merry christmas and a happy new year.
Dieter
Dieter, I'm pleased to read that you have found the serial number. Just in case you were wondering about the letter "D" in the serial number.......... it indicates that it was manufactured in the Danville, Illinois, USA. The "1995"in the serial number indicates that it was the 494th truck of that C6D series to be built. The sequential serial numbers began with "1501".
I liked your photos.

I have sent pictures to Forkliftaction.
If you are on Pinterest, you must search for "Hyster H150C ".
There you can find 3 pictures of my forklift.
Yes, it is still in use. I lift some heavy machines like lathes, crancshaftgrinder and so on.It is in private use and not in daily business.
At this time I work on the brakes. Therefore I have ordered a few new parts in USA.
I must overhaul the master cylinder, wheel cylinder and brake shoes.
Greetings Dieter
Dieter, thanks for a quick response. My suggestion (d) that your truck could be a higher capacity "special" within the H100-140C series was correct. That series was in production from 1961 until 1969. The serial number will be something like C6D#####E. E is for 1961. F G H J K L M N. are for the following years. N=1969, there was no year code for letter "I". Your truck is over 50 years old !. I do recall pictures of those US Army trucks.
I was not able to get a picture using your reference. Maybe you can add a picture to the Forkliftaction "Photo Galleries".
I have a 1960 specification sheet for the H100-120B series that was produced 1959-1961, (serial number prefix B6) which I think would have been very similar to your C6. Maybe only frame length and counterweight differences. I could scan it but not sure how I could send it to you.
Just curious, is it still in use, if yes what is it used for?

The forklift comes from Germany. I think it is an army model.
Hyster H150C serial should begin with C6....(C006).
Thank's and regards from carinthia (South of Austria near Italy )
PS:Is it possible to post fotos ?
Hello Toeffi.
The Hyster model H150C interested me as I recall no model with that designation.
a )There was H150 E (serial number stars with B007) and H150H (serial number starts with C007). Both had tilt cylinders with the frame end at the top of the overhead guard.
b)There was an H150F that had its tilt cylinders with frame end at floor plate level. (serial number starts with D006)
c) There was a model series H100-120C (serial number starts with(C006) but as far as I recall, that series did not go to H150C. The tilt cylinders were at floor plate level as with(b)
d) there may have been special H150C units that were for example for the US military with a longer frame or heavier counterweight. Can you see military colour paint anywhere?
On your truck, where are the tilt cylinders ?

PS, Gestern Morgen haben wir ihr President an BBC gehört !
