I am working on bendi where at first I was having a code 24 fault saying the voltage at T2 is too high. Change the card and now I am getting a code -41. Check the thermal sensor it is working, done all other checks and it won't allow me to drive the truck. I change REC 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated

hey scott_, updating on the Ev100 issue I am having. I went ahead and reinstall the original card and I am still seeing the code 24. I also observe another bendi forklift same EV100 and I realize there is a contactor that would close then open with the fwd./rev contactor but on the truck I am working on it isn't happening. I change out the contactor thinking its the coil but same problem.
Thanks. Yes beautiful country. As for the height error. It not showing it anymore. Just drive speed issues in either direction at times. I have noticed anytime it is driven over ruff surfaces and get heavy jerks it move slow in speed. Thanks a lot for your assistance, was really an eye opener
I usually work on a lot of older machines some electric and some lpg that's good that you programed the truck l have worked on some orderpickers with curis controller the ones l worked on with height problems usually was bad height encoders they would not count as the platform was lifting or had bad 24inch proxswitches that would make the truck drive slow there is a company near me that repairs most controller and sells rebuilt or new they are factory cutis repair site.As far as Jamaica me and my wife have gone to montego bay approx 14 times we stay at sandlers royal or montego bay we haven gone in in a long while was there in 2001 last time. It is beautiful there.
Well for me I have just 4 years under my belt but do come a far way. I am in Jamaica where I work on the electrical forklift from EV 100 to the later ones with modules and controls. I have a hyster stockpicker working on now with the Curtis controller. I was having a heighter error code on it, after diagnosing it was the controller defective. We bought a blank controller and manually programmed it ourselves but afterwards we found the truck speed decreased to creep speed in going fwd and normal speed going reverse also it interchange with the direction.
Yes this system was in older trucks today a lot of young guys don't know much about the EV 100 and even older EV1 l am still turning wrenches but been working on lift trucks for 39years have a few more to go till l hang it up

I will swap back the original card back in wher I was getting the code 24 and see if there is any difference. I have one option leave in which I would change the REC 3. The pigtail type diode because that code is saying the voltage is too high at T2
I think you stumped me on this one l don't understand if you have positive and a negative at the contactors they should pull in when you put the directional shifter in forward or reverse and if it drives l would say that the components are good.l run out of options if l think of something l will get back to you and if you fix it let me know
That's what I was wondering if it is the PB plug in was my issue. I did checks on it but getting good reading on wires going to the coils. That's why I swap the card from another truck and try but having a different issue
Sorry l did not get back to you last night but l just read your last post look like your on the right track check the PB plug on the card that is the pmts output to the coils l believe #4#5wire is forward and reverse l think #1is FW,and #2RB
I think it is a pmt issue. The capacitor charge. Change rec #2 & 5 recently. What I realized though if I manually engage the contactors you can get the truck to move in either direction. You know there are fwd and reverse contactors that work with RB and Fw. When you put the truck in either direction only one of those contactor close. So the fwd close but not RB or the Reverse close but not FW.
Chris am not sure what the problem is let me ask you l guess no contactors come in now but when you go in forward or reverse is there any SER hum and have you seen if the capacitor. is charger after you shut the key down if not it may have a bad #2rec the rec comes in first before the #1rec to charge the capacitor.do you have any way to check to see if it gates. if you can not find the problem there is a couple places that you could pull the complete panel and send it to them l not sure we're you are located.
Yes all inputs are okay. The pmt on this truck is a part of the card. T2 on REC1 would be where the negative side , voltage coming to the REC would be 48volts but on the other side am not getting that
Does sound strange the thing that does not make sense is why it would drive in reverse and not forward anything as far as components on the board that failed would not drive in any direction did you check at the tb screws 1to 6to make sure that all inputs were there also does this card have built in pmts or are they on the outside on the board if they are on the outside it is possible that the forward is going bad as far as the 3and 5rec it would not drive in any direction don't think that is it
