Discussion:
the End of Materials Handling as it is known today

The Materials Handling market is about to change. With only around six or seven of the world's manufactures serving. With in the next 10 years most warehouse will be completely different Companies like KION of China DAMATIC or TOYOTA of Japan VANDERLANDE will dominate the warehouse business with hole turnkey products. Pallet trucks, reach trucks VNA truck will all be replaced with automated equipment.

Counter balance forklift sales will also decline and be replaced with complete handling systems that will be able to move products around a facility with out the need of an operator. Out side the facility there will also be big changes Both Diesel and electric forklifts will be replaced with 100% zero emission products that will have much longer ranges then electric forklifts and will be able to handle loads up to 72,000kg while being 100% zero emission. Companies Like Hyster who have backed Hydrogen to the tune of up to $260 million investment will see this disappear as hydrogen forklifts wont be able to compete with the new technologies that will offer lower cost's ,no need for high pressure systems ,be less explosive and more cost effective than hydrogen.

Lol Dave wrong again unlike you pal (and that's a Yorkshire pal) I'm Yorkshire born and bred and lived within 9 miles of Halifax for over 40 years having spent many nights out in Halifax pre Acca (and if your from Halifax you'll know what that means). As an engineer I've supported plenty of customers around HalifaX Huddersfield and Elland Dave.
As for what I've achieved pal plenty both as an Engineer, team leader and service manager then as an end user in one of the biggest distribution companies in the U.K. (fleet size over 5000 units) but the. The one making spurious claims on here is you not me so I certainly don't have to explain myself to you pal.
Once again Dave you claimed your wonder machine would be revealed to the world last year (yes last year Dave) then it's Q4 this year and still no sign, other material handling companies are still introducing new model lines in these troubles times so why aren't you??
All were get are answers (well you never really provide a straight answer) full of basic spelling mistakes and basic grammatical errors which is why I asked if English was your first language, I've had dealings with plenty of directors CEO's of some massive multinationals and they could all spell?? So once again Dave who are you really??

Ok Charlie so what you are saying is that hydrogen has a future in materials handling, and China that controls the lithium iron battry market are going to tell their manufactures not to sell to the automotive market that they are desperate to control, and instead sell to materials handling companies

Do you know something Charlie you still arn't as smart as you like to think you are

Who... is Charlie?

We bought the line being produced in India from Translift for sales overseas, we produce our trucks right here in the USA. Something a person of your great knowledge should have known, especially since Translift is a UK company.

Diesel fork lift aren't dying KION who are not a small forklift manufacture predict that the Global market for Diesel forklift will drop to 24% of total by 2027, if thats not a sign of a dying product.

I cliam lithium Iron forklift won't make it in the market, lithium iron batteries use chemistry to produce them but no companies are investing in the chemistry technology. Over 80% of lithium batteries are made in China, china will see that most or nealy all these batteries will go into the car market.

hydrogen has been around for 20 years but it has not made any impact in any market. A hydrogen fuel cell costs around $15,000 a 5 kg high presure hydrogen tank cost $9,000 a kg of hydrogen in Califonia the world best market costs $13 per kg now if you really beleive that hydrogen has a future you should change your name to Charlie Cairoli he made me laugh as well.

Hyster going under hyster will be bought or will go banckrupt before 2023

We have said there will be an annocement this quatar but again Charlie you don't seem to understand,

So Charlie you don't really know anything and you nether will. yer you might if you are still getting trucks from India

You claimed diesel forklifts are dying, they aren't.

You claimed Lithium batteries are dying, they aren't.

You claimed Hydrogen won't last, it is.

You claimed Hyster is going under, they aren't.

You claimed you would release your truck in April, you didn't.

You claim your truck will change the forklift industry, it won't.

This is your THIRD string of posts on this same subject, and none of it has come true.

You claim to be so great in this industry, and you still don't produce anything. Every time you are asked a direct question you avoid it. Your explanations are "well this company.....well that company" or "the people that need to see have......" Your justification is a bunch of made up numbers based on costs which you can't verify. You have been pushing back the release of this wonder truck for so many years it's ridiculous. The people who you claim to have so much knowledge about, have lost more money due to Covid than you will ever make in the entire production history of your truck. NOBODY believes you. NOBODY is worried about your super truck. At this point, I doubt you could even cost any of those competitors any sales. You have provided NO PROOF the truck exists, you have provided NO PROOF to the zero emissions claim, you have provided NO PROOF that it will affect the industry in any way. Despite the number of people who say the same thing over and over you still don't get it.

I work for Landoll, my company is small fish in this industry and we will generate more in sales the year your super lift comes out (if ever) than you will.

So really ChrisK if you are going to post something make sure you are correct, we do

But yes you calim to be a top designer for Landoll wich i very much doubt, you don't seem smart enough, you can't even get a simple post correct

Exalt, over the years you have made a long list of claims and predictions about the industry.

Here is a list of those that came true:

(if you didn't get it, that means nothing has)

Lifter01 you don't even know me or our company, you don't even know anything about Halifax.

you proberbly are some one who has failed in this industry and who will be unemplyed before long if not allready.

Tell us whats your exsperaince what have you achived if any thing, but no you will carry on making post and hiding behind lifter01

As for Kodak in 2013 Kodak emerged from bankruptcy having shed its large legacy liabilities and exited several businesses. Personalized Imaging and Document Imaging are now part of Kodak Alaris, a separate company owned by the UK-based Kodak Pension Plan.

It will be same future for the Forklift OEM's that have large legacy liabilities

ChrisK Dodgy Dave told us the truck would be shown the the public last year (yes Dave that's last year and you said in on here) as for his names lol he claims to be Dave Callaghan from Halifax in Yorkshire in the U.K. I know Halifax very well and while it is a run down Yorkshire carpet producing town the people there ten to know English and how to spell.
Dave/Exalt has a fairly limited knowledge of the English language looking at his spelling and pronunciation so I would bet against it being his native language.
We won't see the truck this quarter as he's already starting to use coronavirus as an excuse. Dace must be one of the few people in the world thankful of Corona as he won't have to show his non existent truck just yet

Eastman Kodak is still in business, they still produce film as well as other consumer products. In 2019 they employed 4922 people and had a net income of 116 million USD.

Nokia employs 98,322 people and had a revenue of 43.857 billion Euros.

Hyster/Yale will be around in the next couple of years, and for years long after your failure makes it to market, if it actually makes it to market. The ONLY person in this story who won't be around in 10 years is YOU

So what you are saying do your reseach look at the facts, know your products. Kodak was making films for over 50 years but ware are they now. The past means nothing to day its the past. Hyster Yale are looking at a massive rite down probelbly 50% of their market capital in a market that is around 40% down.

If they servive the next couple of years they will be lucky. Hyster Yale will be one of the first companies to be taken over in the next two years. they won't be on their own either there will be many more to follow. but they will be the first to go.

Now you can call this trolling but what i say is its doing our research knowing the technologies of tomorrow and understanding the value of companies. Unfortunatly Hyster yale don't seem to understand this.

Hyster yale believe customers will pay $13 per Kg of hydrogen even a reach stacker would need around 6kg per hour. They believe customer will pay around $1 Million for a reach stacker. Or $56,000 for a three ton forklift. Hyster Yale bet the company on Hydrogen and it looks like they will loose big time. Then add Maximal a near banckrupt Chinese manufacture with no real home market who made around 3,500 units a year at the time of purchase for $100 Milllion pluss $10 million investment and you can see ware its all goin to go wrong for Hyster Yale. The only hope they have is Donald Trump stoping Chinese companies buying Americain companies other wise Hangcha will own them within two years. Hyster Yale will be like Kodak, Nokia, Blackbury and Blockbusters a company of the past. they certainly won't be around for another 10 years never mind 90 year. The $110 Million of shareholders money they waisted on Maximal and the $200+Million they have waisted on hydrogen might just have saved them, now they will be looking at the brink of being purchased for around 25% of their value

But then again what does it matter you will only say i'm trolling Hyster Yale

Known of you who comment will say who you are who you work for all you do is people know me. But do they CHris K you make out that you are a desinger for Landoll but Landoll use the Bendi Truck desing , so what do you desing

It would be a safe bet that neither Hyster nor Yale, two companies who have been producing forklift for over 90 years, are worried about a forum troll who has spent the last decade trying to talk them out of existence, let alone actually producing a product of his own.
