Discussion:
steer fault code C-1

FITTED NEW STEER POSITION SENSOR ( SOMEONE REMOVED AND TAPED INTO UP SO IT COULDN'T MOVE) THE UNIT WOULD DRIVE IN DIFFERENT DIRECTION ON FULL LOCK. NEW SENSOR FIXED THIS FAULT BUT WHEN ON 3/4 LEFT TURN UNIT CUTS OUT AND CODE C-1 COMES UP ON DASH. I HAVE CENTERED THE SENSOR AND DOSE NOT FIX THIS FAULT.
ANY IDEAS ?
WHAT IS CODE C-1 ?
THANKS

c1 is a current sensor fault but more likely current stops due to one of the motors not working. turn wheels slowly to right while driving slowly and if unit stops, left motor is bad. opposite for right motor.
