Linde (& Baker) H25CT:
Sound from differential area

I just picked up a H25CT from an auction and all seems good but there is a sound that might be normal for this style drive but I am unsure. The sound sounds like it is coming from the differential but TBH, it could be coming from anywhere behind as well.
The sound is a bit of a growl/groaning sound when under load during acceleration or going up hill. This isn't that unexpected for a small hydrostatic drive so I am guessing it is normal. However, it is really quiet when traveling with no real load which makes me wonder if it is supposed to be quiet at all times. Also, there is a common drive sound made by lawnmowers, skid loaders, small dozers, et. This sound is different.
I am not asking for a diagnosis but more of an assurance it is normal to make some sounds under load and that the sound isn't like most of the other hydrostatic drives. Thank you.
