Skyjack 3219 releases brake cyl at 6 ft mark and platform bounces

Serial-22110230 MC unit. when i lift platform at 6 ft the machine releases brake cyl and it takes hydraulics away from lift causing the platform to bounce. My question is what switch activates the brake cyl when lifting and can i adjust the switches so it activates the cyl at the beginning of the cycle? Or is this just the way these motor controlled units work. I have looked over the manuals on Skyjack site and could not find any info on this part of the system. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Mathew

Thanks for reply i figured it out, it was a auction unit and someone had the wiring shifted one spot over for the brakes on the terminal strip. I put wiring back to proper spots and life is good again. I hope this will help someone down the road.

Something is off, the brake definitely should not be released ever while raising unit, if happening at around 6' tells me chance something to do with height switch but still should not effect brakes...if the machine is new call for warranty repair
