what else controls dash light fork symbol besides seat switch?
yeah, I tried all that. jumped the switch, tested wiring, traced all the way to ecm. switched ecm with working unit. still nothing. light on dash with wrench symbol. can't read code with reader. not sure if we can get flash codes on these.
Bart,
have you tried pulling the seat to confirm no issues on wiring or switch. the light has to be out so somewhere there is a bad connection or a bad switch. I have had several where the switch was bad. I have also seen junk get under the seat and ruin wires. you can pull the plug and temporarily jump it to confirm, I think the plug is under the hood and maybe another under the seat
