Upon shifting to FWD (or Rev), I can hear the solenoid on the transmission engage. Pressing the gas, if in a flat area, the forklift will move slighly in the direction of the shift, but it has no power thereafter to move or climb. If I press the gas pedal slighly and release several times while on fwd or rev (seems also, that if I play with the up/down hydraulic) "something" engages and now has power. Upon shifting out and then in again, same problem. Transmission and hydraulic oils are good.

The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
