if you suspect a faulty seat switch then test it with a vom
you can also "temporarily" bypass it to see if the problem goes away
check the wire harness to it also and make sure it is not damaged

note: when using the bypass method on any safety device "during testing" ALWAYS make sure you restore it to it's proper orientation and make the repair if needed, NEVER leave ANY safety device in a bypass state EVER.

The first practical visible-spectrum LEDs were red, not white. The red colour was the easiest to produce using the semiconductor materials available at the time (the 1960s). The alloy gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) used emitted red light.
