I have two Hyster N40ZRS-14.5 Serial # A265N03167L and A265N03169L They only have 300-400 hours on them. Within a month of each other the Control handle started Malfunctioning. For example: you push and release the tilt up button and let go and it continues to move. or you push the side shift button and nothing happens, but you cycle it on and off and push the same button and it works fine...push it again and it doesn't. the forward and reverse functions work fine, it seems to only be in the hydraulic functions that fail in irregular patterns. I have the Standard driver Display and ran through diagnostics on the switches and it is showing on (1) and off(2) when I push the buttons sometimes, but other times it doesn't show that I am hitting the button. keeping the value of 0 The yellow Warning triangle ! lights up and it displays "End-of Stroke---Release switch" and this sometimes will display with my hand completely off the joystick.

when I first dealt with this a month ago, I was convinced it is the Control Handle, But Now that I have another truck doing the exact same thing...I am second guessing myself. I am waiting for the company to approve the purchase of the control handle, so if I am wrong, It would be great to know before we spend a billion bucks on a new handle. can someone out there help me verify what I diagnosed it as? Is there a Manufacture bulletin out there addressing this issue. it really seems odd for two trucks to be exhibiting the same fault. any assistance will be met with cheers and beers if we ever meet face to face.
