I don' go back to the Buda days - Allis Chalmers bought them in 1952/54 for the engines and lift trucks were built in small quantities in a "back building" adn wer initially part of teh A-C engine division. I joined them in late 1967 At that time everything was badged Allis-Chalmer a the Buda engine was labled G153.
I can direct you to two people that "might" help you as they were long time AC dealers or had roots that went back to the "olden" days. Langer Material Handling, Valencia, Pa Kevin Langer a contact but his dad Bill would probably be the best person (he is retired but still looks over the kids shoulder). The other is Komatsu Lift Truck in Illinois, Bedford Park (Chicago area) I think - contact Scott Eller - he started in the Parts Department with the Allis-Chalmers factory store. You can find their contact info via Google search. The Buda history & A-C history has died the death of a ragged doll.
You can use my name to open the door a little -these contact a the "newer" kids on the block - I'm a young almost 71 - it will be official on that Boxing Day holiday in Canada.
