There are some cross compatibilities with NISSAN MEC34 ECU's.

Look at the hardware version of the ECU (ie MEC34, MEC130, and MEC131) and the ECM ID (2NANN, 3NANN, 3NANK, TN3NK, etc.) If you match the Hardware version and ECM-ID in conjunction with the same series of lift(K21 or K25 Engine and C4000/P4000) you probably have yourself a replacement.

You may find that many non-compatible ECU's with same ECM-ID and hardware version will get your truck running but will throw a bunch of codes due to VCM to ECM communications conflicts.

Anyone have experience to the contrary?
