Hi all.

I wonder if someone can help. We have inherited a fork lift and have a couple of questions...

The Fork Lift is a Nissan UM1L18U Electric.

1) There is a switch on the panel with a rotating **** above. Under the **** there is a rectangle printed with a circle in the centre and T/M in the middle. Under this is a switch with E on the left and P on the right. What is this for.

2) Combined with the fork lift is a Spegel Automatic Battery charger. When we turn this on there is no "hum" which I presume there would be and only the middle 240v light comes on. It is not charging the f/lift batteries.

On closer inspection, both the "Battery Charging" and "Battery Charged and Ready For Use" bulbs have blown in the past.

Can someone tell me if these are 'excite' circuits, in that the bulbs have to be connected and working for the whole charger to work. I have ordered new bulbs, but they will take a couple of days to get here.

Thank you in advance for any advice...

Luke

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
