Re Electric forklift battery box security.
I can not understand why manufacturers do not have a battery box retaining / locking system to prevent the battery box & its contents from shifting in the event of a roll over on counterballance units.
The power leads will arc our and be severd leaving the box & its contents to fly out.
should the forklift of the electric counterballanced tpye roll over there is nothing stopping the battery box from relocating placing forces onto the underneath side of the drivers seat.
such forces will result in the operator being pinned underneath the canopy or against the dash board or steering column.
my sincere hope is that some one in design areas will see this article and consider its contents

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
