yeah... that thing is from the 60's you won't find a manual. i think ed is on the right track with the clicking, are you sure the reverse contactor is making contact? the cathodes sound like scr's to me and if they were bad you would have issues in fwd too.

where is the truck? im for hire in the gta if your interested...
