There are 2 lateral play adjustors on each side of the reach carriage, these are each hidden behind a screw in cap that has a grease nipple in, the tool allows you to unscrew the cap so you can get at the adjustor.
The lateral adjustors are used to keep the reach carriage running square in the chassis legs.
