Was running fine for 25 years until 1 day it wouldn't go past idle. Will check that the + is going to the correct side. Talked to a guy today that sell governors and he didn't thibnk that was the troble. Under a vacum - the governor opens very easy. Thanks for the suggestions. Mechanic pulled heads and the valves, pistons look fine. Camshaft was fine also. No excess carbon in exhaust manifold or valves. Please feel free to make any suggestions. We have missed the first 50 suspect items so feel free to suggest that 1 in a 1000 thought.
