let me see if i can locate it
i will post back here if i can find

update:
ok i searched through all the information i could find on this ignition delay timer and i could not find any wiring diagrams at all, they show it in the parts list but do not show it in the parts diagrams and it is not shown in any of the wiring diagrams. This was an add-on that cat did apparently after production.
I do remember the timer does come with a small schematic in the box with the part that shows how to connect it to the existing ignition system. It is very basic and just hooks into the existing ignition wiring to add a delay to powering up the ignition circuit so the engine can spin up before it starts firing. This was incorporated into the ignition circuit to keep the engine from kicking back against the starter bendix origionally when the engine was first started. Since then they have come up with different ways to eliminate the problem by use of oil pressure switches etc but this timer was first used as a 'quick fix' for that problem. I do believe it should add the delay you seek i just dont have the diagram on how to connect it.
Maybe someone else here knows what this is and has something that can help you more.
