check the hydraulic oil and see if the level is dropping, you have not mentioned having to add any.

is this customer a multishift operation?
are you sure their people are not just adding motor oil to the engine thinking it needs it? Then reporting back that it is overfull from the next guy?
I have seen these things happen

the extra oil has to be coming from somewhere
