I know smaller capacity lifts use the standard of 24"x 24" load center in calculating the rated lift capacity. I'm now getting involved in larger lifts (40,000 to 55,000) lb & was surprised that sometimes they seem to use a 36"x36" or even a 48"x48"load center. Does anyone know if the standard really is different for larger lifts & if it is, at what point does it change from the smaller lifts- Thank you
