Hello,
I have a well used Hyster S50XL and I'm trying to adjust the sensitivity of the clutch/brake pedal. The lift has a single brake pedal, with what I think has an "inching" function. Currently, when you let off the brake, the wheels engage and the lift sort of lurches forward. Someone told me that there is an adjustment that can be made so that the transition between braking and wheel engagement is smooth, and not jerky. I've looked around the valve assembly that controls fwd/rev via a couple of electric solenoids controled by the throttle pedal. This assembly also has a piston which is controlled by the brake pedal (it is separate from the brake master cylinder). I cant find any adjustment screw or mechanism to adjust fluid flow from this piston. I found what looks like a small filler hole with a plug in it located directly behind the piston in the assembly, and there is no obvious sign of fluid inside. Should this have fluid in it? Is there some adjustment that can be made?

Any info helps. Thanks
