Hi all,

I am considering a purchase of two Hyundai forklift Trucks. One is 7 ton machine, gas (model 70L-7A) and the other is a 3-5 ton electric (model I don't have currently).

These forklifts will get light use only, but we expect them to last nearly forever because of that and that is the idea. Previously we have had old forkllifts and you have to spend a bit on them and occasionally they break down causing distractions and downtime.

The main question I have is does anyone have a Hyundai forklift and what do they think of it?

The 7 ton machine looks to be great for the job in hand. It is relatively cheap (compared to a Hyster to get that lift its half the price) and gives 7 tons at 800mm centres.

The 3-5 ton electric looks to be quite cheap (again in comparison) and seems to offer all the features. Again because it is lightish use, so i don't need to worry about the battery capacity (there is a 5 year warranty on the battery anyway).

I would love to hear please what people think of their forklifts?

Fact of the week
In Germany, the 9th of November is sometimes called Schicksalstag, the "Day of Fate" because it has been the day for several major historical events, including the horrors of Kristallnacht in 1938 and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
