the truck calculates temp based on field resistance. can you disconnect the field cables from the tm's and measure the resistance of the fields through the motor cabling and compare from left motor to right. are you sure they are the right tm's that were put in? check over your tm gate lead connections make sure you are on the right tabs. can you move the tms for the left motor to the right and see if the right now gets the overheating code? the broken lug is concerning, i dont know if it being bad could change the field resistance reading the vehicle manager is seeing.
