I have a Cat P6000 showing 2 error codes. 23 and 31. I know 23 indicates broken wires at the throttle position sensor and did in fact find 3 broken wires. I will repair them when I return to the machine. I do not know what the error code 31 indicates. Could someone please help me with this. Also I read I can use an OBD II code reader for cars to clear the codes. Is this true?
